Zebra Bandana Bag

This is pictures of a bag I acturally made with material.  I designed it based on a bandana bag I found on the internet.

Cut two even squares of the zebra strip and lining
I cut 2 piecies of material the same size. You can cut whatever size you want.
I put pockets on the lining and labeled some of them.

I tied the two pieces together and made a handle by braiding some of the materials.  I also stitched the two pieces together for additional strength.

If you need additional information you can leave me a comment and I will send you detail instruction.

Lil Blue Boo: LBB & Dharma Trading Design Challenge

Lil Blue Boo: LBB & Dharma Trading Design Challenge

LBB & Daharma Trading Design Challenge

I used the recycled T-shirrt hoodie patter. I started out making hoodies after my Daughter-in-law, Christy at Beachbrights.blogspot.com sent me the pattern for the tee shirt hoodies. I was already planning to make a hoodie for my new nephew Alex, four months old. I had purchased a couple of patterns to use but after getting Alex's measurements was suprised to see that even though the patterns said they were for 6 months to 1 year size, they were HUGE. When I made the hoodies from LBB patterns the size was so accurate that I decided to use it to make the hoodie for Alex and it worked out perfect. The hoodie was made frrom scraps of a Robe that I had made my 16 year old grandson. I had put a tent pocket on his robe so I just continued the them. With shoes to match.

Close up of Shoe.

Close up of Kangroo pocket.

I plan to buy other patterns for LBB and keep on sewing.

Making Homemade Pizza

Ingredients for Home Made Pizza Dough

  1. Bullet Express
  2. 1 cup of milk
  3. 1 tablespoon of butter
  4. 2 cups all purpose flour plus 1 cup of flour
  5. 1 tablespoon of sugar
  6. 1 teaspoon of salt
  7. 1 pack of dry yeast
  8. Let the Bullet Express do the work.

Raven and Ian were over this weekend. We had several projects we wanted to do. I just got the Bullet Expres and wanted to do some testing with it. So we made home made pizza dough. It was easy and fun. Just takes a few seconds in the Bullet and it taste good too. We made two batches, well I made one and Raven did the next one. She loves to cook. While we were making the pizza dough, Grandaddy and Ian were pulling stapes out of his bedroom floor. It was too cold outside for them to work on the deck. Maybe next weekend. Here are some of the pictures of the dough making and I get to show off the Bullet Expresss and my backsplash!

Look at that girl go!

I will have to add a picture of the finished product later. Raven and Ian took theirs home to cook and Grandaddy and I ate ours without taking a picture. I had not eaten anything since breakfast and we ate about Dinner at 6.

Now just wait an hour or so for it to rise.

Here is Ian helping Grandaddy pull staples.

And here they are going home.

I Am So Sad!

My First Hoodie

Christy, sent me a pattern for a Hoodie that's made from recycled Tee Shirts. Here is what I came up with. Hope it fits Max.

You take two tee shirts that Daddy is ready to do with out, or you can go to Thrift Stores and pick up some. You need 2 shirts with corrdinating colors and you turn it into a childs hooded. Pattern came from Ellebows and more web site She has a lot of great ideas on her site. Check it out at http://lilblueboo.blogspot.com

Byron Put Up Some Siding

This is not what we wanted to put up, but it was less expensive and I think it looks great. Byron just about killed himself moving those beams in place by him self. I was very sick yesterday and couldn't help. Doctor gave orders for me not to lift anything any more. He may have to hire someone to help him with the back and sides. Even the sky looked better yesterday!

Before and After

Blakeley's Robe Finished

Finished up today about 5:00 so I couldn't get it in the mail today. Hope she and Ryan get them by Christmas.

I couldn't pass up getting the frog to go with the robe and pj's. Isn't he cute.
